What is NStudy?

We are an education research consultancy. We believe people young and old has a right to education, travel the breadth of the world to seek knowledge through education and be change makers in communities. One thing that stands in the way which is more than merit is money. We understand how much scholarships means to students and at times it is a form of liberation. The founders of NSTUDY are academics, researchers and recipients of multiple scholarships in their student life and hence we have decided to render the service of articulating various available scholarships for the betterment of the global student community.

REGION Details


North America includes countries such as United States of America and Canada. The region is home to some of the best universities in the world such Harvard, MIT, Princeton, University of British Columbia etc. The region from the latter half of last century has been attracting foreign talents through various scholarship schemes.  


In the QS World University Rankings 2020, a total of 381 European universities are featured among the world’s best. Europe is traditional home of some of the oldest and most prestigious universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, LMU Munich and Chalmers to name a few. European universities and other bodies have been generously providing scholarships to international students. 


Middle Eastern countries such as UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia etc are known for their riches and have been diverting resources to the education sector keeping in mind the global knowledge-based economy. Hence, there are new opportunities for scholarship seekers in the region.  


Asia Pacific region boasts a wide array of diverse countries including Australia, Japan, China, Thailand among others. There are universities of repute such as RMIT, University of Tokyo, Nanjing University, NUS among others in the region providing generous scholarships to international students.


The USA has the world's largest international student population, with more than 1,000,000 students choosing to broaden their education and life experience in the United States. Some of the popular scholarships for international students include- Fulllbright; AAUW International Fellowships in USA for Women, American University Emerging Global Leader Scholarship


Canada has become a booming hub for international students. There are almost 100 universities in Canada, five of which—the University of Toronto, McGill University, University of British Columbia, Université de Montréal, and University of Alberta—are ranked among the top 100 in the world. Australia has long been an extremely desirable location for students looking to study abroad. There are 35 top universities in Australia, according to Times Higher Education's World University Rankings 2020, and six of them feature in the feature in the prestigious top 100 world universities. Some of the scholarships available in the country includes Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP), International Scholarships at University of Flinders, IWC Scholarships for International Students, UNSW International Academic Excellence Scholarship.

New Zealand

New Zealand has eight state-funded universities, 16 Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics (ITPs). New Zealand is known for a high-quality education and world-class qualifications. Some of the scholarships available includes New Zealand International Scholarships, ADB Scholarships at University of Auckland, New Zealand Excellence Awards (NZEA).


The government is keen to attract more international students, and has set a target of having 300,000 foreign students in the country by 2020. There are scholarships available in the land of the rising sun including Japanese Government Scholarships for International Undergraduate Students and Young Leaders' Program.


China’s rapid growth as a global economic power has coincided with its universities’ exponential growth, one of the stories of higher education since the start of the new millennium. The number of overseas students in China has multiplied over the past few decades. Some of the scholarships available to international students includes Schwarzman Scholars Program at Tsinghua University, Chinese Government Award Program At Harbin Institute Of Technology, SCUT Chinese Government Scholarship For Chinese University Program And Silk Road Program.

South Korea's higher education system is patterned after that of the United States. The highest-ranking university in South Korea is Seoul National University. Some of the scholarships available includes Korean Government Scholarships, Korea University Scholarship, Yonsei University Scholarship.


Students are drawn to Singapore for its reputable education system. Six autonomous local universities provide hundreds of thousands of students the opportunity to study at the bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate level in a wide variety of programs. Brunei Darussalam has 1 university in the overall Times Higher Education World University Rankings. The highest-ranking university in Brunei is Universiti Brunei Darussalam. There is funding available through Brunei Darussalam scholarship


India has traditionally been seen as a country that sends rather than receives international students, but a large number of students from elsewhere are now choosing to study in India, with the country welcoming more than 30,000 international students every year. Some of the scholarships available includes General Scholarships Scheme—GSS, E-Governance Digital India Fellowship, KIIT University India Scholarships for International Students.


Home to many of the leading universities in the Arab region, Saudi Arabia is already a popular study destination for international students from within the region, and also has lots to offer those from further afield. Some of the scholarships available includes King Abdulaziz University Scholarships, IDB-KAUST Joint PhD Scholarship Program, Effat University Full Scholarship.


The United Arab Emirates is a country on the southeastern coast of the Arabian peninsula. The fast pace of development and growing quality of higher education in the UAE is setting a global benchmark of what can be achieved. One of the fast-growing economies in the world, alongside the other BRICS countries, Russia is keen to internationalize its higher education system, and is investing in developing its universities and extending support for international applicants. There are 24 universities in Russia featured within the QS World University Rankings 2018, 10 of which are placed among the top 400 universities worldwide. Some of the available scholarships include Russian Government Scholarships, HSE Gold Scholarship.


Germany consistently ranks as one of the most popular countries in the world in which to study. There are over 380 officially recognized universities throughout Germany, and they offer a total of over 17,000 study programmes.
